LEAD YOUR LIFE
How T3 Coaching Could Benefit YOU.
There are so many work (and life) events T3 coaching can help you navigate in better ways, leading to better outcomes.
Here are just a few examples of areas our coaching can help you address...and change!
• You're great at your job, get promoted, and suddenly you're leading a team (and it's not going well)
• You've been fired. Or you think you're about to be. What did you learn? What's next?
• You're wanting a new/different career.
• You lead a company, non-profit or government entity.
• You're burned out, and need a break.
• You're part of a senior leadership team responsible for the success of your organization.
• Your company is fast-growing, and you and your employees are overwhelmed.
• You suck at conflict, and avoid having hard conversations.
• You can't fire employees, even when they're toxic, and clearly detrimental to the organization.
• You believe you deserve a raise, but you're scared to ask for one.
• You have trust issues. You default to micromanagement.
• Your boss is toxic. Or a micromanager. Or both.
• You just feel stuck in a ‘going nowhere fast’ job.

The following questions, or similar ones, may indicate that coaching could help you move forward in your professional and perhaps, personal life.
Aspirations & Motivation
“Is where you see yourself professionally 1–2 years from now different from where you are now?”
“What kind of work tends to energize you the most?”
“What do you want people to say about your impact at work or at home?”
“What would ‘success’ look like for you in the next chapter of your career?”
Performance & Impact
“What would need to change for your impact to match your potential?”
“What skills or behaviors would make the biggest difference in your effectiveness?”
“Where would a small shift in how you operate create an outsized return?”
Growth
“Is there anything getting in the way of you doing your best work right now?”
“Where do you feel least confident or most stretched?”
“What feedback do you tend to hear repeatedly—whether you agree with it or not?”
“If something is holding you back, what do you think it might be?”
Commitment/Accountability
“Would you be open to working with a coach to help explore these questions?”
“What would make coaching worth your time?”
“What concerns would you have about working with a coach?”
Coaching as a Resource
“How do you usually work on developing your skills or leadership?”
“Have you ever worked with a coach or mentor before?”
“What kind of support helps you grow most—feedback, structure, reflection, accountability?”
“If you had a thinking partner just for you, what would you want to work on?”
Why You Should Work with a Coach Who Challenges You.
Your coach isn't doing their job if they're not challenging you to learn, grow, stretch and take risks. We all have a comfort zone. A bubble of safety and supposed certainty. Staying in the bubble may feel…good. Comfortable And, it does not allow for your continued growth and development. Your coach should be helping you leave your comfort one, and take on learning, projects and work that really pushes you to bring your best...and more.
How I Work With You
A Partner-Based, Curiosity-Fueled, Results-Oriented Approach.
My goal is to meet you where you are, and help you clarify where you want to take your leadership. Then, help you move out of your comfort zone and explore new ways of being. Along the way, we'll incorporate relevant leadership skills and tools.
THE END RESULT?
A more focused, influential, intentional, and skilled leader, who knows how to leverage strengths.
TOM MANN
I was born just outside Philly, raised in Wallingford, PA, a small town with a significant Quaker presence. Though not raised a Quaker, I was naturally curious, especially when something anything was put forward as an 'absolute.' This curiosity resulted in being fired from many jobs early in life, for asking, "Why can't we do it this way?" And, it awakened an entrepreneurial spirit.
I earned a BA in Advertising and an MBA in Marketing, both from Penn State (GO LIONS!) and co-founded two ad agencies, both in Northern Virginia, serving as Account Manager and Creative Director/President. No surprise, when, as an 8- or 9-year-old, you're more interested in the commercials, than the TV shows, like 'Lost in Space' or 'Get Smart.' That was career #1."
I'd always been interested in leadership. I was a Boy Scout leader, a Philmont Crew Chief, and a leader (some would say instigator) of a youth soccer league at an early age.
This continued in college and into my business career. What makes a good leader? A great one? How about a terrible one? I was hooked!
I started working with a company, Resonance, and some Olympic athletes who created 'Feelosophy.' This concept posits that how you feel—which you CAN control—directly impacts your performance, whether you're an athlete, a doctor or a businessperson.
In 2024, I embarked on Career #2. It brought together what I perceived as the '3 Levers' of a great organization: Leadership Development, Culture Change and Customer Experience. There are many ways to lead, resulting in various leadership styles. Data and research revealed that Authentic Leadership—leadership from a human's core essence—is the most human-centric and in my view, powerful form. I use this approach to leadership as the basis for my coaching.
Personally, I’ve lived in Colorado mountain towns for over 20 years. Loves the nature, the vibe, live music and the occasional craft beer. Great hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, skiing and more are easily accessible. Fun!
Experience
I has been Coaching Leadership since 2007. And I’ve coached at every level of both the for proft and nonprofit worlds: CEO to admin, manager to salesperson, Executive Directors to consultants. I also coached state and local government leaders and employees.
Most leaders are made, not born. Leadership, especially good leadership, is challenging, which is why so many leaders abandon their Leadership and default to Management, which emphasizes problem solving. Doing comes more naturally than communicating a vision. Part of my coaching process is to help the people I work with lead more, recognize when they’re defaulting to management and CHOOSE to lead, again and again.
